From 11th October 2022 . The 59th edition of Italian Exhibition Group´s TTG Travel Experience opens tomorrow at Rimini Expo Centre. The most important tourism marketplace in Italy, along with the 71st SIA Hospitality Design and 40th SUN Beach&Outdoor Style, features 2,200 exhibiting brands and a thousand foreign buyers, 58% from Europe and 42% from the rest of the world, plus over 200 events. IEG´s expo centre will show the market the best of Italian tourism, with all 20 Regions and over 50 foreign destinations, confirming its role as the reference expo for the Italian outgoing market.
The three IEG expos will be officially inaugurated at 12 noon in the South Foyer with a talk on ´Tourism´s Unbound turning point: enterprise projects for travellers with new sensibility´, moderated by Camila Raznovich, host of the TV program ´Kilimangiaro. Unbound is the leitmotif of the three expos, which describes a new attitude for travelling and hospitality, «freed» from the times and places of traditional vacations and more heedful of tourists´ new requirements. The over 200 events with more than 250 speakers that will characterize the 2022 TTG are distributed over seven arenas and for three days will range from digital technologies such as the Metaverse and NFT, to sustainability and inclusiveness, through to frontier issues such as space economy and space travel, like the expo where business and new perspectives are interwoven and climax in the presentation of the Vision +23 dedicated to «The Re-Coding Game», to inspire professional players to anticipate the need for travel and experiences. The focus is on the open-air sector for SIA, with, among the various events of the two Arenas, the exhibition dedicated to glamping, ´The Ne[s]t´, which describes the evolution of this sector, which, as of this year, is part of the expo proposal of SIA, following up on the agreement stipulated between FAITA FederCamping and IEG. Whereas SUN is preparing to assign the ´Best Beach´ awards to Italy´s most attractive innovative bathing establishments.
TTG is attended by the most representative trade associations and institutions, which choose the Rimini event to present scientific researches to the market . such as that by the Istituto Piepoli for Confturismo on the Italian market as seen from abroad . to understand the evolution of the travel and hospitality market.
