The First Mile Project is an EU-funded initiative that uses behavioural science to help SMEs in the tourism sector recover from the pandemic and improve their sustainability, even with limited resources. It aims to make tourism SMEs more sustainable by using behavioural science to promote sustainable changes in operations.
A practical lesson in small actions that can have big impact. ActiveItaly, Business Network for Active and Sustainable Tourism, will share concrete examples of sustainable implementations adopted by its members in the First Mile project, demonstrating how even small interventions can generate positive impacts.
