He manages the non-business activity of ETOA, the European Tourism Association with over 1,100 international members. He focuses on working groups and engagement with destinations, with a particular focus on governance and business environment, capacity optimization and product diversification, and support for climate action. He leads external dialogue with policymakers at all levels, industry partners, academics, and DMOs, and contributes to public debate through panels and publications. As co-chair, he coordinates the Tourism Manifesto, a consensus-based pan-European alliance of more than 70 sectoral organizations developing priorities related to EU strategy, regulation, funding mechanisms, and best practice initiatives.
