PhD, teaches Public Economics (Magna Graecia in Catanzaro), Cultural Economics (IUAV in Venice) and Cultural Tourism Economics (Treccani in Rome). An economic expert in international cultural cooperation projects (India, Indonesia, Brazil, Guatemala, Uganda) and in EU projects (employment and heritage, new professions in museums, art cities, cultural tourism), he has published extensively on topics in the economics and politics of culture and coordinated strategic plans for culture and tourism (Syracuse, Spoleto, Nuoro, Sulcis) and cultural heritage management (Palazzi dei Rolli in Genoa, Colosseum Park, Reggia di Caserta, Pompeii Archaeological Park, Villa Adriana and Villa d'Este in Tivoli, Mont'e Prama Foundation in Cabras).
