Full Professor and member of the Andalusian Academy of Regional Science, Spain
Full Professor of Business Economics, he was Director of the Faculty of Business Studies, the Department of Management and Marketing and the Tourism Research Group at the University of Huelva (Spain).
Since 2010, he has been Academic Holder of the Andalusian Academy of Regional Sciences (Spain) and Visiting Professor at York St. John Business School (England).
He is one of the Spanish researchers in the area of tourism in the ‘Ranking of the World Scientists: World's Top 2% Scientists’ published in 2022 and 2023 by Stanford University, as well as among the top 0.5% of global researchers in the field of tourism, according to ScholarGPS (2022).
He is currently Guest Professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of the Algarve, Portugal (Pro Bono)
