Architect

An architect, she works as a freelance professional in Bologna dealing mainly with interior design and exhibition design.
Alongside her professional activity, she has been a freelance lecturer since 2004: she has been teaching assistant at the Faculty of Architecture of Alghero, University of Sassari and, since 2008, she has been a lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.
Author of numerous articles published in specialized magazines, from 2000 to 2008 she collaborated with the international magazine of Architecture and Urbanism “Parameter”.
In 2011 she published for Federico Motta Editore the volume Cultural Centers. Architectures 1999-2011. Translated into English and French, the text is the winner of the Thorlet Prize in the French translation published by Actes Sud Editions.
Always committed to the promotion of gender equality within the technical profession in 1999 she created, with other female professionals, “Per tutta la città,” a map for women on behalf of the office 'Bologna Sicura - Assessorato alle Politiche Sociali, Sanità e Sicurezza' of the Municipality of Bologna; in 2021 she established the Equal Opportunities Commission within the Order of Architects of Bologna curating several projects to raise awareness towards the issue of gender planning.
